As of June 2008, Life Settlement regulations require both a life settlement broker and provider to be licensed in the state of Hawaii. Milestone was one of the first approved life settlement providers in the state of Hawaii.
Upon completion of the life settlement broker application, life insurance agents and financial representatives may apply for a life settlement broker license to the Department of Insurance for Hawaii.
